Publication Ethics

Pediatric Sciences Journal adopts core practices of the Committee of Publication Ethics. PSJ is keen to ensure high ethical and professional standards. PSJ encourages authors to seek and commit to their respective institute review board (IRB) approval and The World Medical Association (WMA) Declaration of Helsinki Ethical Principles for Medical Research involving human subjects, including research on identifiable human material and data. PSJ will not publish works that violate the subject(s) anonymity. PSJ publication ethics ensure unbiased professional review that allows honest reporting, sound statistical analysis, reasonable interpretation of data, and the limitations of the published work. In the event that PSJ Publisher or Editors are made aware of any allegation of research misconduct relating to a published article in PSJ, the Publisher or Editor shall follow COPE’s guidelines (and others) in dealing with allegations. Publishers and Editors of PSJ will take reasonable steps to identify, prevent the publication and retraction of papers where research misconduct was proven, including but not limited to plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data falsification/fabrication, among others. In no case shall PSJ or its Editors tolerate misconduct, or knowingly allow such misconduct to take place.
