Pediatric Sciences Journal (PSJ) is the official journal of The Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt.
The Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in Egypt was founded in 1827. The Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University was founded in 1928 by Late Professor Ibrahim Shawki Pasha. Currently The Pediatric Hospitals of the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University host 855 beds, where The Faculty Members of the Department of Pediatrics provide cutting-edge services across all pediatric science disciplines to more than 380,000 children annually. 
Founders of PSJ:
The PSJ was founded by Professor Magd Ahmed Kotb, Professor of Pediatrics/Pediatric Hepatology, co-founded by Professor Mona El Falaki, Pediatrics/Pediatric Allergy and Pulmonology and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt and Professor Fatma Al Zahraa Mostafa Professor of Pediatrics/Pediatric Cardiology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 2020.
The Pediatric Sciences Journal acknowledges that the cover was designed and dedicated by Professor Mona El Falaki and Nada Youssef Moguib, Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer to the Pediatric Sciences Journal,the official journal of the Pediatric Department, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
